One Year

Today marks one year of blogging!! Check out my very first post!

A little history…

A friend of mine introduced me to blogging back in 2006 and for the longest time I only read my personal blog and her personal blog, haha. Then one day I was looking at the “Blogs of Note” on the Blogger Dashboard and saw “homemade by jill” blog and started following hers, such a great blog. And then one day, I saw a comment on homemade by jill by someone mentioning “the home teacher” blog :). Then after being so inspired by those two blogs- homemade by jill and the home teacher, I decided to launch my own public blog, and in the process came across a whole blogging community! Wow I never knew there were sooo many amazing blogs and today my reader really truly has hundreds of blogs on it!

When I look back to when I started this blog I was fresh out of college with ideas floating everywhere, it was my intention to start this blog to build up a personal resource of early childhood education activities, ideas, websites, and blogs, and I think I can gladly say- mission accomplished! My resources have definitely grown and they keep growing!

Over the course of one year many visitors whom I know and do not know have also stopped by my blog to comment or to view an activity and I am truly humbled and honored if they were able to benefit from my blog in any small way. 🙂 And I also want to say if during this whole blogging journey, if I have ever said/done anything wrong to anyone in any way then I sincerely truly apologize and do hope you can forgive me!

A Thank You…

More than anything, I have learned A LOT from everyone, all the great blogs, resources, and inspiration you all share, for that I thank you! 🙂 My daughter and I have really enjoyed this past year, and look forward to what lies ahead.
