While I am busy with the babies, you can most likely find my eldest quietly sewing in the living room, inventing new things with needle and thread in hand. She has sewn purses, clothing and accessories for her dolls, brooches, and even embellished t-shirts.
I have also been doing some work with needle and thread, working on a small cross stitch pattern I found in “The Embroidery Companion” book. It’s a project that I am taking my time on, doing a few stitches here and there. I keep my project, along with my embroidery notions, in a small pouch inside my purse so I can pull it out whenever I find my hands idle, like when I am in the passenger seat of the car on our way to the grocery store.
