Shop Policies for Handmade Beginnings

NOTICE: These Shop Policies are legally binding. It is Your responsibility to read these Shop Policies carefully prior to purchase, use, or access of any of Our products, including online courses. These Shop Policies apply to all Handmade Beginnings Online Programs, including Tinker Camp™, Sewing Camp™ and Ramadan Thirty™.

Our Terms And Conditions and Privacy Policy can be found on our Terms and Privacy Page. By purchasing from this website you agree to all terms and conditions found in our Terms and Privacy Page and Shop Policies Page.

+ What is your shop currency?

Our shop currency is CAD.

+ What kind of payments do you accept?

I currently accept payment through Paypal (A PayPal account is not required to buy an item, You can pay with credit card directly from this site), and Stripe. Please post payment within 24 hours of making your purchase. If your payment is not received within 3 days of your purchase, I reserve the right to cancel the sale, and relist the item.

+ What is your return and exchange policy?

ONLINE COURSES, MEMBERSHIPS + DIGITAL PRODUCTS:

Please note that due to their digital nature, all online courses, memberships and digital products are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you are unhappy with the course, membership, or digital product you purchased email us at info@handmadebeginnings.com so that we can address your concerns.

Also note that online memberships will automatically renew, whether on a monthly or yearly basis, unless cancelled by the customer. Keep in mind that when you cancel your membership you lose access immediately, so always cancel the day before the renewal date. Reminder emails will not be sent when your membership is about to renew so be sure to make note of when you registered.

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS:

If you are not happy with your product and if it has not been used, you can return it within seven (7) days of receipt. Return shipping is at your own expense and we will issue a refund for the cost of the product once we receive it back. Please email us at info@handmadebeginnings.com to initiate a return.

+ Can I request a custom design?

No, I am not taking any custom orders, sorry about that!

+ Are your products sewn or glued?

All my products are machine and hand sewn and I do not use glue at all.

+ How accurate is the online colour representation?

We try our very best to use photographs that accurately portray the colours of our products. However the colours you see on your screen may vary depending on your monitor's settings. Please take this into consideration when viewing our products online.

+ Can I find your items in retail shops?

No, at the moment our products can only be found here on our website.

+ Do you offer gift wrapping?

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not offer gift wrapping.

+ Do you offer wholesale?

No, we are not currently offering wholesale.

+ Where are you located?

Greater Toronto Area, Canada

+ Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, I ship worldwide! Each customer is responsible for any customs/duty fees their country may charge.

+ Do you ship to the billing address or shipping address?

I ship to the address that is used as the shipping address at checkout.

+ How do you ship orders?

Depending on your location, orders are shipped via Canada Post, UPS, USPS, and ASENDIA. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

+ When will my order arrive?

Orders require a 3-5 business day processing time before they are shipped out, unless otherwise noted in the item description. Shipping times vary depending on your location, please contact before purchase if you'd like to estimate delivery time. Custom orders require a longer processing time which will be noted before production. Please note, some packages may be delayed at Customs resulting in a longer shipping time, or be delayed due to Covid-19 delays.

+ How do I get a tracking number for my order?

Every order is shipped via standard mail and does not include a tracking number. If you wish to have a tracking number and upgrade your shipping, please contact us before placing an order.

+ What if my package is lost?

Delivery Confirmation is available at an additional cost. Unless you have purchased Delivery Confirmation, I will not consider responsibility for packages that are lost. I retain receipts of all packages shipped (recording the date and your postal code) as documentation that your package was shipped.

+ What about Customs fees?

Customs fees vary from country to country. The buyer is responsible for paying any customs fees that are incurred when packages are delivered.

+ Do you offer local pickup?

No, I currently do not offer local pickup.
