Oakville TEEN GIRLS Machine Sewing Club, Ages 13+, (4 sessions) Sundays
Learn how to operate a sewing machine while making fun creative projects.
In this 4 session course you will learn the parts and functions of a sewing machine, how to thread a machine and bobbin, how to care for a machine, how to safely sew using basic stitches, and the best part- you’ll get to take home unique projects made by you!
Our experienced instructors, with over 25 years of combined sewing experience, a mother-daughter team, Eva and Asiyah will guide you through all the tips and tricks you’ll need to become a confident beginner sewist!
Please note: This is not a garment construction class, so we will not be sewing clothing. We will be sewing beginner projects such as a tote bag, pot holder, scrunchie, or something similar.
